Durian Season (:

Half day trip to Balik Pulau, Penang for Durian ^^

Balik Pulau is traditionally popular among the people of Penang as where they will get the best fruits. This is where Penangites been especially durian season when the fruits are in abundance. There is lots of local fruits there such as durian, mangosteen, nangka, rambutan and etc. My daddy will truly love this place if he were here. That is my first experience tried mangosteen. It is a bit sour but i can accepts the taste. 


Well.. Balik Pulau, i will be back for the next durian season. :D

I have an awesome Tuesday~

Early in the morning, after having breakfast, we heading to Bendera Hill together..

this is my second visit to Penang Hill !

4 of us - Me, my love one, Jing Lian and Tai Jun ^^
Thats the very first we hang out together ((: Its kinda fun~ meeting new friends..
actually not new.. just not that close before this.. Hee..

Penang Hill is actually just a hill..

that you can get to the top of the hill with cable car ~

The weather on the hill is fresh and cool..

We had our afternoon tea in the garden of one of the Hotel there..

It is so enjoyable when u really can put down your stressful life for a moment..

Afterall, we went to Gurney Plaza for high tea!

We all truly enjoy the dessert of Meet Fresh or we known as 鲜芋仙..

The outlet is situated on the 2nd floor.. which is just beside Kim Gary..

Our first order is 

Meet Fresh Signaure Herb Jelly

Then after tiring window shopping..

we went back the same shop again.. have a try on other dessert..

we got the promotion coupon.. BUY 1 FREE 1

we order

Purple rice porridge with milk ( RM3.90)

and get a free
Herbs Jelly with Red bean + peanut + pearl ( RM6.90)

how worth.. :D

Dinner time, wanna try out the famous pancake house.. but too bad it is closed..
We end up having dinner at a hawker centre  and that is my first time try out sting ray!

今天的天气好好..
一大早，我和教会的朋友一起去 爬山..
目的是要去Pantai kerachut~

路途虽然有一点遥远..
要走三公里的山路..
但是，最后我们还是抵达啦！


今天最开心的事是： 生平中第一次看海龟！

可是都很小很小的..

好愉快的周末～ ^^
没有烦恼～
好开心..

虽然我们住得很近，关系也还不错..

可是..好像都不曾会四个人一起拍照

以后要常拍照 (；

The ambiance of the place is fantastic with lotsa antique stuff !!

终于去到了! 好开心!

去年十二月,妈妈来Penang时,就来了这家店两次,不停的赞这里的食物好吃..

回来  后,我曾经问过一些Penang人,他们都不知道这家店..

那天,心血来潮..我们去了那家店-西公园饭店   ..正确位子是在regency Hotel45度

不会去-怎么到？ 坐德士-告诉taxi driver, Regency Hotel- Transfer Road.

到了！ 好开心！虽然外观很旧，可是很有感觉。。据说，已经传了三代噢

踏进店里，我们好像是最年轻的了。。很多上了年纪的人一下。。重点是满座！证明好吃咯！

价钱蛮合理下。有机会可以试试 （：

Kek lok Si

I have been a long time not updating..

between I went to Kek Lok Si on 10 Feb 2011.

The trip is awesome.

firstly, we took bus from recsam transit to komtar and finally reach Kek Lok Si at 7.05pm.
The whole journey spent us 2 hours as the traffic jams is so serious.

When we reached there, ppl says need to walk up the mountain for 15mins as the staircase parts is already closed. We admit and we walk. Half road, we saw a taxi & the good hearted taxi driver drove 6 of us up.  Aha. V just realisedd that taxi river is from kelana Jaya, Selangor which is same hometown with some of my other friends. The taxi driver & her wife are here for vacation too. (: How nice ^^

We went up there.. The scenery is prettily decorated  < :

Between there are a large crowd. many people went there as the next day 11/02.2011  is consider as the first day of CNY for Hokkien. U know.. Penang many Hokkien right ?
That night.. Kek Lok Si temple seems to be lively.

The trips is smooth with the blessing from god.
and I learnt smth new that the road of school is Sultan Azlan Shah.
Thanks for the invention of GPS and it brings us back to our hostel safely.. ((:

I m sure everyone of us truly enjoy the trips.

I make a wish under the tree.. May all of us get the blessing from god now and always.
Stay happy, healthy, wealthy ( if you want), work hard for good results, good relationship with family, relatives and friends around.. 2011 year will be a great year ahead. <:

4 Hour Walk

With a Penang Map, here we start our 4 Hour Walk around George Town. (:

This is part of Penang Map and it shows the route map of our trips.

 I  feel proud of myself that I can walk for such a long distances. What a very good experience that I treasure. I think I gonna have another route map for the next trip. Kindly thanks to the route planner Plaster and Kiing. Btw, I enjoy the moment capturing pictures all along the road, viewing the historical buildings and visiting the Penang Heritage.

Our first Station is Chew Jetty.We walk from komtar to Jetty. Well, I just realise that it isnt far actually. It took us 1/2 hour time to reach there.

Second Station is Fort Cornwallis.

Yay.. I enjoy visiting this historical Fort. It seems to be bringing history to life. I recalled back what Ms Chong ever taught in Sejarah  Secondary Two. Wee.. I saw Francis Light! In real life! I mean carving. 

I even saw the Church built during Francis Light time. This is the place where Francis Light's widow, Martina Rozens & John Timmers' Wedding held.

Look at this.. Yes! This is a prison. 

This is the Gunpowder Magazine. Ppl in olden days used to store the gunpowder here.The thick wall of the buiding can withstand explosive.

Next - Little India.

Aha. This is the street that I find interesting. Umm Sarawak have minority of Indian people. Actually i like their costume a lot especially saree.( because it is difficult to dress up, Aha ) Yes, you have to agree with me.. Accessories that they usually wear are delicate too..  At this street, you will meet many Indians and here you can find the latest movie, songs of Indian, local Indian food, afcoz their boutique and etc.

After all, we take bus back to the Komtar bus station. 

Fish Spa

FISH SPA!! My first experience! ((:

We always want to try fish spa but never success. But today.. FINALLY!
 After Singing K with friends at Neway, Queensbay Mall, we walked around while waiting another two buddies who were watching movies. Meanwhile,we stopped in front of a shop " The Dream - Reflexology and Fish Spa." ( Third Floor )

We noted the student price is RM19 for 30 minutes BUT the kind hearted worker offered us - RM15 for 50 minutes! Nah.. Who dont want! We stepped in without hesitating.

At the beginning, we were SO excited! When no fish swim by, we start complaining the fish in the tank are too little.. But when the fish start playing their 'role' We start to giggle! Tell you.. When the fish are biting, it feels like they are tickling your legs, we just keep shouting for the ticklish ( since no other customers except five of us ) When you can manage to tahan the ticklish, then more and more fish will swim over you. Bite away your dead cells between your toe - Wee~ FUN!!!
